An eCommerce Project - Shopify Design & Development
Core Impact sells bespoke, high-performance wearable apparel, footwear, equipment, and subscription-based training content from leading experts and trainers – democratizing access to tools and resources that will allow for performance enhancements of all athletes.
The Challenge
Design
Our client needed a simple but dynamic website for his unique brand of performance-enhancing training apparel and equipment. Our team chose to use the brand's dark and light color pallet for the website to portray this intensity, power, and competitive-spirit.
Development
The chosen Shopify theme helped us to build a simple layout and navigation, but the theme's limited design options meant we had to customize most of the elements using code (Html & CSS).
Our Solution
Keeping it Simple
Our goal was to keep the website simple and to provide easy navigation for users. At the same time, we had to use an aggressive color palette and great images to attract the attention of our users.
Custom HTML & CSS Coding
Our team used custom HTML and CSS to adapt and customize the Shopify template to represnt the brand's energy and elicit intense emotions from our users.
Our Process
Research & Analysis
We interviewed our client and did an analysis of the current sports websites in the market to gain valuable insights.
Designing
Based on the insights obtained from the client and our online research/analysis we designed an information architecture and content layout that would best address the requirements of our client and the needs of our target users.
Developing
Developing our design involved customization of the chosen Shopify theme to convey the brand's message while empathizing with the users' needs.
Validating
Finally, we tested the draft site with the client and some users who mostly responded well to the simple and engaging design. The client was fully satisfied after a few minor iterations.

Communicating Brand Value Proposition
The website offers a unique value proposition that describes CoreImpact and its offering of bespoke high-performance sports products for athletes. This was a big advantage when it comes to pitching the business to investors who look for professional and compelling content when researching a business.

The website helped our client in raising venture capital as it showcased a legit business with an energetic brand, potential customers, and an impressive design that tells a good story.
